12V / 24V / 36V Electric Safety Tips


Whether your child is riding an electric scooter or an electric ride-on, it’s important to follow a few tips to keep him or her safe while riding.

1. Read the owner's manual carefully
Be sure to mind the minimum age and weight requirements specific to each type of electric product. This information can be found in the owner’s manual and on the product box. Remember to read the owner’s manual carefully and to heed all of the warnings stated in the manual, on the packaging and on the electric product.

2. Dress appropriately
Wear appropriate shoes and clothing. Never ride without shoes or in sandals.

3. Check your ride
Inspect your electric product and ensure everything is in proper working order before each and every ride.

4. Never forget your helmet
Always wear a helmet when riding your electric scooter and also when riding other 24V or 36V electric ride-ons. Be sure to check that the helmet is approved and meets Snell or CPSC standards. Additional protective gear, such as elbow pads and kneepads, are also highly recommended when riding your electric scooter and certain other electric ride-ons. 5. Ride with caution
