DIY Popsicles!

A hot summer day will make you crave something cold and tasty. We think the sweetest treat during warmer weather is a fruity popsicle! There are lots of recipes for icy refreshments, but we have found a recipe that will attract all ages, from the toddlers to the grandparents! These steps are so easy that even your littlest ones can join in the preparation.

Supplies needed:

  • Popsicle Making Kit or Paper Cups with Popsicle Sticks
  • Your Favorite Juice (We used pineapple!)
  • Sour Gummy Worms

Instructions:

Step 1: Pull out the popsicle handles and place a couple sour gummy worms into each popsicle mold. This will ensure that the worms are at the top of your delicious treat when you are ready to eat!

Step 2: Place the popsicle molds in the freezer for 10 minutes to make sure the worms stay in place when you pour in the juice.

Step 3: Take the popsicle molds out of the freezer and fill each popsicle mold up with juice, leaving a little room for the handle.

Step 4: Place a popsicle stick into the middle of each popsicle mold.

Step 5: Carefully place the full tray back into the freezer on flat surface and allow 3-4 hours to freeze solid.

Step 6: Once the juice has fully frozen, pull the popsicle mold out of the freezer and run it under warm water until you are able toremove the popsicle from the mold. Now the whole family can sit back and enjoy!
