Dynacraft Provides Thousands of Bikes for Children
December 15, 2017
American Canyon, CA - Dynacraft partnered with TurningWheels for Kids, of San Jose, to donate hundreds of bicycles to underprivileged children just in time for the holiday season. A total of 2,500 bikes were donated to the Big Bike Build event. Dynacraft helped provide over 1,500 of the bikes. Some of the bike models we donated this year include the Magna Starburst 16", Magna Precious Pearls 20", Magna Major Damage 16", and the Tony Hawk 24". The bikes were assembled by numerous members of the community including but not limited to local fire departments, law enforcement, and individual volunteers. Dynacraft loved teaming up with TurningWheels for Kids to donate bikes and help children within the San Jose community.
TurningWheels for Kids is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was founded by Susan Runsvold in 2005. Susan’s goal is to prevent childhood obesity and to support low-income families. 100% of all donations go directly toward the purchase of bicycles.
The bikes were given to children who would have otherwise not had the opportunity to own a nice, new bike. The children expressed pride, joy, and gratitude for the newfound freedom that comes along with a fresh set of wheels. They were also eager to create new memories that last them a lifetime!
The donations not only impacted children, but their parents as well. A handful of the parents are living in shelters, and the families are experiencing hardship. The donations relieved a lot of the holiday gift giving stress.

DYNACRAFT CAPS OFF THE YEAR WITH A HISTORIC PARTNERSHIP WITH TOYS FOR TOTS
December 30, 2016
AMERICAN CANYON, Calif.--Dynacraft, the largest privately held distributor of bicycles, scooters and battery-powered ride-on vehicles in the United States, has closed out the year with a partnership announcement that will benefit needy children in the San Francisco area. In December 2016, Dynacraft spearheaded an operation along with the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation to distribute 9,200 toys to local children in the bay area, a donation valued at a historic $1 Million in toys.
Such an effort will require the ongoing assistance from a network of non-profit organizations and churches that serve families in the San Francisco area to logistically distribute these toys before and after the holiday season. "Dynacraft has always been committed to working with organizations like Toys for Tots to provide gifts to children and to bring a smile to their faces every holiday season. It’s been our pleasure to work with Toys for Tots.” said John Bisges, one of Dynacraft’s Managing Directors. "Together with the local community of the Santa Clara County, we can make magic this holiday season!"
Steve Preminger, a Toys for Tots volunteer who has been with the Marines for 25 years, reiterated the significance of this donation. “We have never had a donation in our community like this before. Many different partners are coming together to make this work… our local labor movement, the County of Santa Clara, the Valley Medical Center Foundation, a company that loaned us a forklift, a retired carpenter who is operating it, and others. It is a big deal.”
